Nose:Gorgeous buttery pastries, fresh out of the oven. Layers of syrupy fruit, like apricot and peach. Some herbal hints of sage and caramel sauce. Palate:The buttery note continues here, with thick cut marmalade. A single scoop of vanilla ice cream with a drizzle of caramel and heather honey. Finish:The heathery notes work with the caramel to see this out. Comments: This whisky is like a spring morning, nipping out to get a pastry and then enjoying a stroll in the countryside. Light and wholesome all at once.

Nose:Furniture polish, rum-raisin ice cream, Christmas cake and plum sauce. Some five spice and stewed green apples and pears. Leather and old books. Subtle black bean sauce, and chocolate granola. Palate:Medium-full. Chocolate gateau, toffee dipped cherries, and intense ginger heat. Intensely fruity:concentrated apple, blackberry and pear pie. Some anise. Finish:Long. Chocolate, clove and anise. Comments:A distilled chocolate fruit cake.
