This special anniversary vintage celebrates 50 years of making Cabernet in Napa Valley. It results from happy soils, healthy vines, low crop yield, low to no irrigation, and harvest at high ripeness levels – all key ingredients of the Caymus style. The wine is rich and round on the palate, with textural tannins that are non-bitter. Evidence of French oak, but not overplayed. Acidity for balance, but not tart. There are no hurdles to enjoying the delicious essence of this wine, which exhibits an expression of the style for which Caymus is known.

【Caymus開木斯酒莊】
家族來自加州Napa谷的Rutherford地區，於1975年推出了旗艦酒款"Special Selection Cabernet Sauvignon"，曾經多次被Wine Spectator選為百大好酒，而另一款膾炙人口的產品便是Caymus Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon。酒莊會將已經成熟的葡萄串持續掛在樹上直到冬季將至，雖然此方法會損失部分收成，但是過熟的葡萄提供了更圓厚的口感、豐富又柔順細緻的單寧，這種技術稱為 “Hang time”；Caymus所生產的兩款紅酒均採用了這種特別的技術。
